Carolyn played volleyball in school and went on to play at The King’s University College in Edmonton. She continued to play in both woman’s and mixed leagues as well as beach and stopped playing when she got into coaching volleyball in 2016.

Carolyn first starting her coaching career in Gymnastics (2010 – 2018) in Grande Prairie. She started coaching school and club volleyball in 2016 where she assistant coached U14 (Div 2 Provincial Champions) & U15 at SPVC. She was also involved with their Jr Blizzard program for gr 5 & 6 and helped out with their beach program in the summer. She assistant coached at both St. Kateri Catholic School (League Champions) and St. Joe’s Catholic High School (League Champions and JJJ Zone Champions) and was the assistant coach for the Zone 8 girls for the 2018 Alberta Winter Games (Gold Medalists).

Since moving back to Calgary, Carolyn was an assistant coach at JCS Highschool for the Sr Girls team (Div 2 silver medalists) and she has coached the Sr girls volleyball team at McKenzie Highlands school for the past 2 seasons. Carolyn is very excited to be part of the ACE Volleyball Club to continue to develop as a coach and to work with young athletes who share her passion for the sport to develop their volleyball skills and to help them reach their potential on and off the court.
