Jefferson has been in and around the volleyball community since he was 12 years old. He first fell in love with the sport playing for his Junior High School team and has been playing the sport in and out of school ever since. He has experience in multiple positions, as he has contributed to his teams by running the defence as a libero or establishing the offence as a setter. After his playing career, Jefferson quickly shifted to coaching the sport to help foster a love for the game and to give back to the community. He has been coaching for 6 years and has coached all levels from U14 to U18, at the club and school levels. Through the Calgary High School Sports Division, Jefferson has taken 5 out of his 6 teams to the City Championship match and has transformed his school’s volleyball program from a division 3 team, into a division 1 contender. Jefferson is looking forward to transitioning over to the Ace Volleyball Club to develop his knowledge of the sport and help his players grow as athletes and people.
