Alexis is a former outside hitter who continues to play in adult leagues. She played for five seasons for her high school team and two club seasons.
She has been coaching for 5 years. When she is not coaching or playing volleyball, she is studying to get her Bachelor of Arts degree so she can become a secondary school teacher. She also works as a recreation and camp leader in her limited spare time.
Her favourite ice cream flavour is cookie dough or cold brew and she loves dogs.
