Sigrid Vargas

Sigrid is a volleyball enthusiast. Originally from Manila, Philippines, with 21+ years of competitive and intermediate indoor volleyball and basic beach volleyball experience. She started as a youth varsity athlete and up until collegiate days. As she migrated to Leduc, Alberta, 14 years ago, she continued to play volleyball on recreational teams in Leduc and Edmonton. Sigrid can play various positions in volleyball, but her main skill is the outside hitter. Now that she is part of ACE Volleyball Club, Sigrid wants to focus on discipline and confidence and fully enjoy the sport. Outside the volleyball world, Sigrid is a family woman who loves the outdoors, movies, and food. Sigrid is also an active leader of a hospitality company in Leduc.
